"these trails are sick! it's like a mini morgins in the dublin mountains. 100% best berms in the country!!"

ticknock phase 2 was a large project to build 3 new black grade, 3 blue grade and 1 red grade trails. total kilometers of trail was approximately 6.5 kilometres. the black trails were a combination of flow style with larger jumps and steep berms to steep technical sections with natural rocks and roots. the red grade trail was a combination of flowy berms and tabltops with some more technical features like rock sections and tight twisty singletrack. the blue trails were fun flowy style trails with easy berms, pump rollers and nice easy gradient to keep the speed up without needing to pedal but minimal braking points.on this project we had some serious drainage issues with ground water and rocky difficult terrain, we overcame these issues with extra topside drains, a lot of storm pipes and land drain pipes. we dug better quality dirt from other areas of the mountain and imported it to the trail to deal with the rocky poor quality soil in some areas.
