WHAT WE DO.

We expertly design and construct mountain bike trails that offer a thrilling experience for riders, while complementing the natural landscape. From the initial concept design, we work to construct exciting, sustainable trails which have a minimal environmental impact and hold up to heavy use and weather conditions. As riders we take pride in being creative with the mountain, crafting unique styles of trail that we know all levels of riders will love.

MEET THE TEAM.

  • WITH OVER 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN CIVIL CONSTRUCTION, MY CAREER HAS ALLOWED ME TO TRAVEL THE WORLD WITH MY MOUNTAIN BIKE IN TOW. RIDING BIKES FOR MANY YEARS, MY PASSION HAS TAKEN ME FROM MY LOCAL MOUNTAINS IN IRELAND TO QUEENSTOWN, NZ AND MANY PLACES IN BETWEEN, RIDING A HUGE VARIETY OF TRAIL STYLES AND TERRAINS.

    I’VE A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION, HEAVY MACHINERY USE AND in MANAGEMENT roles. ALONG THE WAY, I MOVED INTO PROFESSIONAL TRAIL BUILDING AND WITH THIS EXPERIENCE, AS WELL AS WITH MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE BUILDING AND MAINTAINING LOCAL TRAILS, I FOUNDED A LINE TEC IN 2022.

    COMBINING MY LOVE FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING AND EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN A DREAM COME TRUE. THE UNIQUE CHALLENGE OF WORKING IN STEEP TERRAIN AND BEING CREATIVE WITH THE MOUNTAIN IS SOMETHING I THRIVE ON AND AM VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT.

  • From a young age, at the foot of Mount Leinster, I’ve been biking and building trails—rain, mud, hail, or shine. I’ve been mad for driving diggers from an even younger age! I started with enduro, but downhill has definitely become the favorite over the last few years, with every holiday spent biking and racing in Morzine, Austria, Germany, Scotland, and Wales—the list goes on!

    I spent nearly every day during Covid digging—so much that it turned into a training spot, with Ronan Dunne and other World Cup riders often making the trip down to train. (Check out Ronan’s YouTube edit Doing Dangerous Stuff.)

    I absolutely love building new tracks, whether it’s a fresh DH line, digging with the lads in Bree, or any given workday at A-Line Tech. I’m lucky enough to say I don’t mind thinking about work even when I’m off the clock—honestly, I even dream about building trails!

    I can safely say I’ve landed my dream job with the dream team at A-Line Tec—starting on the ground in early 2023 and moving to operating machinery by the end of the year. You can’t beat the creativity and craic of building savage trails!


  • Hi I’m Callum Morris

    Since I started mountain biking I’ve always loved building and riding trails. Being from somewhere in Ireland with no mountain bike trails I had to get creative as I spent most of my days building new trails and testing them. For the past 2 years I have raced the junior World Cup series getting to ride some of the best tracks in Europe. Working for A-Line tec is a dream come true getting to use my imagination and experience from trails I have rode before to build tracks that I am passionate about and riders of all skill levels will enjoy.

  • I've spent over 15 years riding and racing my bike all over the world, I've ridden every kind of trail imaginable, from the Andes, Alpes to Rotorua's Redwoods, giving me an understanding of what works and doesn't work on a trail, from a rider's perspective. It's been great to be able to harness that experience with A-Line Tec's incredible trail building skills, creativity and knowledge to build trails that are sustainable, safe and enjoyable for all level of riders.


  • Working as an experienced designer I understand the importance of A Line Tec’s brand identity and work to ensure all presentations, tenders and correspondence have a uniform aesthetic, offering a sophisticated and strong brand personality.

    Additionally, I take care of the admin side of the job, doing what needs to be done to ensure we can travel the world building trails.

    I have a strong love for the outdoors; whether diving, hiking or kayaking, I’m always up for an adventure.
